My baby....

Is six months old today! Where has the time gone? He's the happiest six month old you ever saw! And he sure does love his mommy....seperation anxiety is hitting all of us hard ALREADY! He finally started eating his cereal yesterday after weeks of gagging, spitting and crying! He is sitting up on his own, rolling all over the place and trying so hard to crawl. He will scoot across the floor on his belly but can't move on his hands and knees yet. Rolling usually gets him where he wants to go so crawling might take a while and I am OK with that :) Jayda and her brother are already having a great time playing together. She is so patient and loving with him. She will bring all of her little animals out on the floor and tell him each one and what letter they start with. It's adorable. It usually ends in tears though because just when I think that they are getting along, she will lean over and kiss him which sends him toppling over, haha! I just can't believe he is here (STILL). I am so happy with our little family, it just couldn't get any better! Wanna read my birth story? Click HERE !

What we are doing.....

We have been so busy, and so has my camera! I will spare you all thousands of pictures and just stick a few in here. We have been having so much fun with our family and friends. There is just nothing better than being at grandma's and grandpa's! We have been sledding, horseback riding, snowman building, hot springs walkling, checking out the buffalo at the state park and visiting my Great Grandmother. Last night Jayda and Grandma had a sleep over....they were so cute!

Dallyn is fascinated with his Great Great Grandma
Dallyn and Uncle Ben

Sledding

Taking a bath together for the first time without the baby tub! They had a blast together, and it was darn cute too! The kids are getting so big! Dallyn is trying to crawl, he gets so frustrated when he just barely moves! He can roll and roll all day long though so he can get what he wants.

We survived!

We survived our 24 hour drive to Wyoming. We took a detour through Arizona and New Mexico to miss the snow through Utah. It added a few hours of driving and so with leaving Sunday morning, we arrived at 2am Tuesday morning. We all had a great time and the kids were so good. I am so blessed to have such a flexible family! jayda had a blast watching movies and playing "I Spy" games out the window. And Dallyn slept more in those few days than his whole life put together!!!

It feels so good to be here, we are all just soaking it up. I have way to many pictures to even think about sharing so I will just stick with one (until we go out and play in the snow again, mom will NOT forget her camera this time). Tonight Dallyn got his first taste of cereal. He promptly started gagging and crying....he is not a fan! I can't believe my baby boy is a few days away from six month old.....talk about pullin on the ol heart strings!!!!!!!

Real Men.....

Wear cowboy boots......

We have been so busy, I don't know where to start so this will just have to do for now :) We have been going to the zoo, playing at the park, organizing the garage with daddy and re-planting our lawn. Bryan doesn't have to work this week (except today, go figure) so we have been enjoying our time together. Then next Monday the kids and I fly to Wyoming for some much needed Grandma time!! We will be flying back to thaw out at the end of the month. I am not really sure why I decided I needed to go home in the middle of the worst weather of the year, -20 degrees does not sound like my cup of tea anymore! All of my family is going to laugh how acclimated to San Diego I am :(

No children were harmed in taking of this shot. Mom was carefully stationed just out of the lens and daddy took the picture :)

Could it get any better?

This year we spent our first Christmas with just our family, no visitors (if you don't count the single sailors that were drifting in and out all day, haha). We all had such a great time together. The two days before Christmas were dedicated to making and dropping off cookies....it was so much fun. And it was so amazing to have Bryan home the whole time. This year was truly my favorite Christmas ever. It's indescribable how happy seeing your child happy will make your heart! Jayda was so excited about everything, from the cookies and carrots left out to helping make dinner the next day. We watched Christmas shows all day long and I know for a fact that we all ate and drank WAY too much.....I'm not so found of Bailey's Irish Creme anymore!

Reindeer Food!

Jayda checking out the stuff in her stocking!

She loves lolipops....
