The only one?
Is my kid the only one who insists on running around either in her pajamas or stark naked all day.........seriously? I keep looking for a DECENT picture of her in which
1) she is looking at the camera in a NICE way
2) she is wearing NICE clothes, not her favorite princess nighties
3) her fingers are NOT in her nose
So far, I don't have any. Tomorrow I am on a mission to get ONE good picture of my little hippie princess. But until then I have plenty to remind me when I am old and gray how my child refused to wear clothes longer than 5 minutes......

I turned my back for one second.....
And Jayda had covered her brother with the backs of my breast pad stickies.......how sweet. Now, in the next few seconds I am sure DFS will be getting a phone call and my house will get tapped.....because I left them there. That's right, I left them stuck on his head. I mean, the dishes hadn't been done, laundry was staring at me from the couch and he had JUST gone to sleep. Let sleeping babies sleep is a cardinal rule here at this house.....

I love my kids!
I was always so scared that I could never love my second child as much as I did Jayda. My grandma is right, your heart just grows!
Where has the time gone?
I can't believe it, yesterday my little boy was 4 weeks old. In two days he is going to be 1 month old!! It feels like just yesterday we rushed to the hospital and he came flying out! He's accomplished quite a lot in just 4 weeks. He's driven 1,200 miles, gone to a padre game, BBQ's, checked out Daddy's ship and gone to so many parks and seen the zoo twice! And the most exciting part of all you say? He's learned to smile................

We're going green!
Dallyn wore his first cloth diaper yesterday! It went well, no leaks and easy clean up! We still are going to wear disposables for a few weeks. Newborn clothes are NOT made for babies with big butts......haha. They are still pretty big on him and not a whole lot of his clothes fit him when he is wearing them.

My baby is growing up!
Ever have those life moments when your breath gets taken away? Saturday was one of those days for me! Jayda learned how to ride her bike! It was quite possibly the scariest but exciting moment she has ever taken me into. Watching my little girl ride her bike away from me made it really hit home how big she is growing and how much of baby she isn't anymore. Thank goodness she will always be my little girl no matter what!

Dallyn's a chunker!
Dallyn had his first dr appointment out here in San Diego on Monday. The verdict is in and he is a chunker already! He was born at 7lbs 1 oz and by 15 days old he already weighs 8lbs 5oz. CRAZY!! The dr was very happy that he was putting weight so well since he is breastfeeding, apparently you can't over feed them :)He has also gained a 1/2 an inch!! I am so happy he is healthy and growing! He doesn't have to go back until he is two months old, YAY!! With all the scares this little boy has given us, I am just so thankful he is healthy!

My Last Belly Picture!
Siblings
Every time I look at my kids, I feel so over whelmed because I am the luckiest momma around! They are both so sweet and I adore them more than life itself! I am so happy that they will have each other to grow up with. My sisters are my best friends and I don't know what kind of person I would be without them. I hope that Dallyn and Jayda feel the same way when they are older. I am fully aware it will probably be WWF for a few years, but I am willing to brave it for the bigger picture :)

Who loves Dallyn?
Here are a few quick pictures of some of the many people who love our Jayda bug and our new baby boy Dallyn! It was so hard to leave them all to come back to San Diego but it's easier knowing that there are people who love them here too :)
Grandpa and his grandbabies

Aunt Leah(my older sister)

Grandma (and Dallyn who is smirking, lol)

Great Grandpa Codgy (My Hero!!)

Great Grandma Barb (GG)

Aunt Hannah (my younger sister)

Our drive back went great, the only one that got really tired was ME!!! Having such an easy delivery really helped though, I really didn't feel too bad the whole way. Both kids slept a lot and neither one really fussed to get out of the car. Dallyn cried a total of ONE time the whole trip....he apparently was saving it for mommy when we got to our house, haha.
We are doing good now that we are home. I am super busy unpacking and getting used to having two kids (which is insane by the way!!!). Bryan goes back to work tomorrow but thankfully it's only for 24 hours and then he gets two days off and then they will only work tues-thurs excluding duty days. So he will be around to help us all transition into a routine again. Dallyn is doing great, he is such a good baby. He sleeps really well at night, and I am soooo happy. His sister almost wakes up more than he does, haha. Jayda is slowly adjusting to having a brother. She adores him, but is very angry at me for giving away my time I think. She has only been aggressive towards me thank goodness! She loves helping feed, clothe and bathe Dallyn though, she is a great big sister!
