My dear sweet Jayda....

Jayda-7 days old

Jayda- 1 year old

Jayda-2 years old

Jayda-3 years old

Jayda-4 years old

Four years ago, you came into our lives and showed us how to love. We never could have imagined you would turn out to be such a cool little person, you are amazingly loving and have the sweetest little heart I have ever seen. You fill our days with laughter, love and lots of bugs. And pink....we can't forget the pink. And there are many people who feel the same way about you, you are a very loved little girl. Thank you for giving your dad and I the opportunity to be parents to you. You are such an amazing person and I am so happy we get to watch you grow up. We love you more than anything.

I can breath

I can finally breath, my best friend is home. I've been sitting on this post for a while, it's hard for me to describe how amazing it is to be "whole" again. I have some amazing friends who did a great job of filling such big shoes, but really there is no comparison. Especially considering they weren't the ones who knocked me up :-)

I really feel as if I have been holding my breath for six months. It's like if I really sat back and realized what was going on I would have gone insane or had a panic attack. Thankfully, he was able to be here to help out a lot while I was really sick in the beginning of this pregnancy. He left when I was 12 weeks....perfect timing. We seem to be good at timing these deployment babies. Although this is our LAST one....for sure. No ifs, ands or buts about it. Period. Every once in a while I throw myself a pity party....I haven't gotten to really enjoy the perks of being pregnant (other than eating whatever the hell I wanted...that I have thoroughly enjoyed and will miss in a few weeks). I haven't gotten to sit around and put my feet up. There was no breaks, naps while kids were awake (that I am admitting to anyway) or having mommy time while someone else puts them to bed. But honestly, it has made me so much more confident in myself and who I am as a person. I hear people complaining about their life and I realize how lucky I am to love everything about mine, even if there are a few parts that are tough to deal with. I'm so incredibly proud of my husband and I would and will continue to be here holding down the fort for him and our babies.

And so for a few months, I can breath. I will NOT think about the fact that he will be leaving again in a few months, or that he will be leaving me with a newborn, a toddler and a preschooler. That is stuff that I can deal with when it happens. I can add our new addition to our family whenever she wants to come (as long as she gives us enough warning to make it to the hospital!) And I can spend the next two months loving the 3 (almost 4) people I love more than anything in this world.

She was so excited to see her daddy!

Waiting...the kids ate so many donuts...it wasn't the best idea I ever had

It really doesn't get any better than this

We got lucky and it only started raining right before this picture

37 weeks

37 Weeks with baby #3

37 weeks with Dallyn

Alright baby #3....you've made it full term! Now if you could just stay in there until...uh, july, we would be great :-) But just in case that doesn't work for you we are all gearing up to meet you. Your daddy will be home soon so you can come anytime after that. Your bed is made, car seat is ready for you to ride in,our arms are ready to hold you and our hearts are ready to show you how much we love you.

We didn't know how much we wanted you, but God did....

Jayda's first day of preschool!

The day finally came and Jayda started preschool! She is growing up so much, I am so proud of her. When we got there she went right in, washed her hands and sat down on the rug. The teacher had to TELL her to say goodbye to me, she was ok with me just leaving. Talk about pulling on a mommy's heart strings! She was so proud of herself when she got home. She told me that she told all of the teachers that she could go to preschool because she knew how to spell her name and knew all of her letters. My silly little girl. I'm so glad she likes her new adventure!

Almost there!

The days have been dragging, but the weeks are flying by! I'm frantically trying to check off things from my to-do list...it's much longer than I thought it was! We've been having a blast passing the time, the beautiful weather has helped out so much! Lots of beach days and walks around our gorgeous neighborhood. And the fruit....the fruit that is coming into season is making life pretty sweet for this preggo :-)

I've been feeling really good, especially for being 8 1/2 months pregnant. It's been a very rewarding experience being pregnant and here by myself...I feel much more confident in my mothering abilities and my sanity, haha. I haven't reached the point where I am just 100% uncomfortable, but I'm getting there. I have 3 1/2 weeks left so I'm sure it will happen. It's amazing thinking that this will be the last time I will ever be pregnant, I plan to soak it all in the next few weeks. One of the things I really wanted to do this pregnancy (that I didn't with the others) is to do professional maternity photos. My friend, Amber, did an amazing job! I can't wait to see the rest.

I was really lucky to have my little sister come out and spend Spring Break with us. It was nice to have someone to talk to in person after the kiddos were in bed, and to have someone help keep an eye on them. She is pretty awesome too though so even if she had just sat around with me we would have had a great time.

Things I am excited for....

1. April
2. Belly pictures
3. Potty training
4. the pizza in the oven

But the BIGGEST excitement for me today is getting my girls their first matching outfits....Jayda has this shirt only it says "Big Sister". I actually got Jayda's first and then super shopper Kelly managed to snag me this one (or 3, I got one for each size so that they can match for a WHILE). I never thought I would be so excited about having two girls, or that I would be one of those mom's who will match them every once in a while. And I am SO glad that Jayda is excited to wear clothes that match the new baby...because I would make her do it anyway :-)
