Having a great time!

We have all been having a great time since we got home! We have been rocking birthday parties (and tinkerbell balloons), chewing on straws, helping our friends celebrate birthdays at the zoo (I am so bad, I forgot my camera) and....PULLING OURSELVES UP!! Dallyn just decided a few days ago that he was ready to walk, and tried, haha!! He took two steps away from the couch and fell flat on his face, the poor guy. I don't think he realizes he is only 6 months old! He says Mama, and a variation of Gma...it's pretty cute! He is still not so keen on eating food other than booby milk but Jayda sure likes his puffs :) This morning we had the best time at the museum with friends. Aaron taught Jayda a new word, "extinct".....although she really does NOT understand it. She told me today that since her milk was gone, it was extinct, haha!

Dallyn's first sippy cup! Big Boy!

On a side note, Bryan and I renewed our vows....and I got some new bling :) It's getting sized and welded together right (is it welded, well, whatever) now but I managed to snap a picture before they took it, haha!

We are home....

We are home and finally thawing out! We got back a week ago but between laundry, birthday parties and enjoying the AWESOME weather outside I have been neglecting my poor computer! Grandma drove back with us but left last Thursday. While she was here we spent every minute we could outside. Jayda must have jumped on the tramp for three hours straight on Wednesday :) And they had a great time decorating our front walk with chalk drawings of smiley faces! On Saturday we went to celebrate our friend Job's 3rd birthday! We had a great time but this bad mommy forgot that you could get sun burned in February here and so we are both fried......fun! Jayda also had an allergic reaction to her DTapP shot so we spent most of Saturday night in the Urgent Care center.....by the time we left I had figured it out that I have spent 87 hours in the hospital with my kids in the last three weeks....they had better be healthy for the rest of their lives :)

Almost home!

After spending a few (or more like 5) weeks in Wyoming we will be driving back to San Diego soon. We were supposed to be home by now but Dallyn got very very sick and was put in the hospital for quite a while. The scary part is over and he is on the mend so we will be heading home soon!

My baby....

Is six months old today! Where has the time gone? He's the happiest six month old you ever saw! And he sure does love his mommy....seperation anxiety is hitting all of us hard ALREADY! He finally started eating his cereal yesterday after weeks of gagging, spitting and crying! He is sitting up on his own, rolling all over the place and trying so hard to crawl. He will scoot across the floor on his belly but can't move on his hands and knees yet. Rolling usually gets him where he wants to go so crawling might take a while and I am OK with that :) Jayda and her brother are already having a great time playing together. She is so patient and loving with him. She will bring all of her little animals out on the floor and tell him each one and what letter they start with. It's adorable. It usually ends in tears though because just when I think that they are getting along, she will lean over and kiss him which sends him toppling over, haha! I just can't believe he is here (STILL). I am so happy with our little family, it just couldn't get any better! Wanna read my birth story? Click HERE !

What we are doing.....

We have been so busy, and so has my camera! I will spare you all thousands of pictures and just stick a few in here. We have been having so much fun with our family and friends. There is just nothing better than being at grandma's and grandpa's! We have been sledding, horseback riding, snowman building, hot springs walkling, checking out the buffalo at the state park and visiting my Great Grandmother. Last night Jayda and Grandma had a sleep over....they were so cute!

Dallyn is fascinated with his Great Great Grandma
Dallyn and Uncle Ben

Sledding

Taking a bath together for the first time without the baby tub! They had a blast together, and it was darn cute too! The kids are getting so big! Dallyn is trying to crawl, he gets so frustrated when he just barely moves! He can roll and roll all day long though so he can get what he wants.

We survived!

We survived our 24 hour drive to Wyoming. We took a detour through Arizona and New Mexico to miss the snow through Utah. It added a few hours of driving and so with leaving Sunday morning, we arrived at 2am Tuesday morning. We all had a great time and the kids were so good. I am so blessed to have such a flexible family! jayda had a blast watching movies and playing "I Spy" games out the window. And Dallyn slept more in those few days than his whole life put together!!!

It feels so good to be here, we are all just soaking it up. I have way to many pictures to even think about sharing so I will just stick with one (until we go out and play in the snow again, mom will NOT forget her camera this time). Tonight Dallyn got his first taste of cereal. He promptly started gagging and crying....he is not a fan! I can't believe my baby boy is a few days away from six month old.....talk about pullin on the ol heart strings!!!!!!!
