Playdate with our Fabulous Mommas!

Yesterday

Yesterday I decided to stay home and have a fun day with Jayda. I picked a good one because Dallyn slept most of the day (NOT normal for the little guy!) and so we got to do lots of fun stuff. We made some Halloween decorations and she hung them up in the window (they are in EVERY window of our house....I went a little overboard, haha) and then we got to color and finally bake a cake. I feel so bad for my poor little girl, she is caught in such a rough time (terrible twos for SURE) because this was how she accepted all of the attention......she bawled her eyes out.......

Bottle Time!

Jayda got a chance to give Dallyn one of his few bottles he's ever had in his life time, I think it was his second one. He took it from her no problem, but just a few minutes earlier while daddy was on duty and I was in the shower he wouldn't take it from him, haha!! She did a great job of holding it up so he wouldn't swallow air and even helped me burp him afterwards. She really does adore her brother. It gets tough when she constantly wants to hold him and touch him, I just keep reminding myself that it's better than the alternative for sure!

Four years ago.....

This was Bryan and I four years ago when in Chicago after his boot camp graduation. It's hard to believe that was so long ago! I am so lucky to have married my best friend.

I have given up on the friday flashback thing.......you guys are just going to get the flash backs whenever I can remember/have enough time, haha!

Gotta love the weekend...

I can't believe it's already Monday....BLAH! We had one of those great weekends just hanging out with each other. Well, Saturday night we went to a BBQ with other little kids and they were older than Jayda just enough so that they could go play with her and keep an eye on her. What a nice break! It was right down the road at a friends house so we all decided to walk. We all had a great time!

As for the potty chronicles, Jayda has been out of diapers for 4 days! She still wears them at night, but during the day she is in underwear. I am so excited for her! We haven't had any accidents over the weekend, which is amazing because Daddy doesn't always get her to the potty right when she says she needs to go, haha!

We are all settled in our new house, pictures are hung and everything. All of us love it, the extra room is just lovely!!

I had to throw in some pictures from the weekend. Jayda is taking pictures with her princess phone, lol! And then the rest were Saturday night walking to the BBQ and Bryan and D-man at our friends house!

What a fun day!

This morning we got to go and meet the Job and Diego's new baby sister, Maggie. She is adorable and we all had a great time, even Dallyn!

And then after nap time for everyone (including mommy!) we hit the pool in our amazingly adorable bathing suits! Dallyn got to dip his toes in for the first time, he didn't cry, lol!

I really should post when I have more brain cells working, we did much more than what I posted, I had just blanked!!



My baby boy turned two months old on Saturday! We celebrated by setting up his crib!
