Thank God

For Grandma.....

 

 

 

 

My wonderful momma came to visit us.....just like she promised when I was bawling my eyes out while we were leaving their house when Dallyn was 7 days old to drive half way cross country.....YAY! We have been having a GREAT time and my freezer is full of wonderful meals to heat up after she leaves. Adjusting to having two children has been pretty tough, especially with Bryan being gone quite a bit....makes for an interesting bed time routine, haha!!!We have hit the zoo a few times and even drove done to Imperial Beach and got some wonderful sea food! But most of all we have just enjoyed being in each other's company and having a great time. Jayda and her go out every afternoon and play in her pool and just laugh up a storm. Tonight they sat out on the porch and listened to the crickets and frogs. Jayda told her all about the "frog" (she thinks the skylights on the top of our neighbors roof is it's eyes, haha) and where it went today for fun!! I am so happy to have her here!!

Best Friends

 

It's pretty convienent to have your best friends be your two only sisters. They seriously are the best and I don't know what I would do without them. I wouldn't be a very happy person :) It's the kind of bond that makes me want to have another baby just so that one of my children will have that same gender bond, LOL!!!

PS, this is us at my little sister's bridal shower, it was a Mary Kay party!

Breast is Best!

 

I have had this picture a while, but talking with some friends last night reminded me to post it finally! I asked Jayda what she was doing and she smiled really sweet and said "Baby milk, she HUUUUUNGRY!!!" :)

I SUCCEEDED!!

 

Wahoo, finally a picture of my sweet little princess with REAL clothes on......and princess shoes and wand, permanent accessories when you are 2 :)

The only one?

Is my kid the only one who insists on running around either in her pajamas or stark naked all day.........seriously? I keep looking for a DECENT picture of her in which
1) she is looking at the camera in a NICE way
2) she is wearing NICE clothes, not her favorite princess nighties
3) her fingers are NOT in her nose


So far, I don't have any. Tomorrow I am on a mission to get ONE good picture of my little hippie princess. But until then I have plenty to remind me when I am old and gray how my child refused to wear clothes longer than 5 minutes......

And Jayda had covered her brother with the backs of my breast pad stickies.......how sweet. Now, in the next few seconds I am sure DFS will be getting a phone call and my house will get tapped.....because I left them there. That's right, I left them stuck on his head. I mean, the dishes hadn't been done, laundry was staring at me from the couch and he had JUST gone to sleep. Let sleeping babies sleep is a cardinal rule here at this house.....
