Tuff

Today, Dallyn got a new nickname....and one that makes me REALLY homesick.

Jayda, Dallyn and I were playing on the floor and Dallyn crawled over to the couch and stood up. Gus ran by and before I could even begin to move to grab him, he turned around and tried to walk after gus. He, of course, fell flat on his face. I swear the kid bounced off the carpet. He rolled over and this was his face...I kid you not. I took the picture about two seconds later (what's the chance that I was taking pictures of Jayda and her tea party). Jayda looked at him and said "He's tough, mom.....he's tough". Now, for those of you who are NOT rodeo fans....you probably won't get it. But SOMEONE has to at least watched 8 seconds once......at least! It made me super homesick and am watching the movie for the second time in a row....I want to go home! I am so out of place here in San Diego. I feel like I am done with my vacation and am ready to go home!!

The happiest place in the world!

We had the best time at Disneyland, 3 days of nothing but bliss! Jayda cried when we drove home....even though she passed out like 3 seconds later! She wore herself out. We had some great moments that I will treasure forever. And Jayda loved every single ride we went on, even Haunted House! Her favorite part was the meeting Cinderella.....thank god I stood in line for two hours because we got in the car to go home and she said "Cinderella loved me, and I loved her. Can we go see her tomorrow?".

My kid is such a thrill seeker....she LOVED the teacups!

We accidentally stayed for the Jedi Training while we were eating lunch on the first day. Jayda REALLY enjoyed it.....who knew she was so in love with Darth Vader that she felt the need to flash him?

OMG

I forgot the most important thing about my new baby.....he is sleeping in his crib.....all on his own!! YAY!! He will lay down completely awake, and go to sleep all on his own! I am the happiest momma ever.....serously.It's been a long time coming and I worked hard!!

New Tricks!

This is going to be my Dallyn catch up post....he is doing so many new things! We went to Disneyland for three days (that's a whole other post that will be coming soon!) and apparently sitting in the stroller all day was all it took for him to want to eat food and crawl. We got home today and he took off. Then we went to the beach and he devoured some crackers and baby food like he hadn't eaten in days!! It's so amazing, all of a sudden my little guy is a mobile, big kid eating boy! He isn't crawling normally, he actually keeps one foot on the ground and uses the other leg normally, it's pretty dang cute! He looks like a peg legged pirate, haha!

Yesterday...

My baby got his first tooth....oh boy! I have to admit I cried for about an hour. No more toothless grins.....I am a little heart broken. I looked in Jayda's baby book and she didn't get her first tooth till nine months, I guess I just wasn't ready for it! BOO FREAKIN HOO!!

My Friday Flashback

I'm not quite sure what's gotten into me lately, but I have become a big pile of mush.....like the gross teenager drawing her boyfriends name a thousand times mush.....it's pathetic! Thank god it's my husband that I am oogling over :) Here is the first picture I ever took of him! We had been dating about two weeks! Alright, I'm off to go draw his name in my notebook over and over....and I might even write a page full of Mrs. Ashley Griffin :)
