A princess day!

We got to help another friend celebrate their 3rd birthday today! Caityn had a FABULOUS princess party, it was such a blast! It was all Jayda could talk about the rest of the day.

We celebrated yesterday since Mr. Griffin has duty today, bummer but what can ya do? We all had a great time dyeing eggs, hiding them and then letting Jayda out to look for them. She was much better at it than we thought she was going to be!

We had a pretty good day, despite the fact that Jayda woke up with horrible snot and had to miss a friends birthday party. She was devastated! But we made up by taking her to walmart to spend her birthday money! While walking by the jewelry.....she told me straight out she wanted earrings like mommy, not little kid ones. So we had a serious talk, told her it would hurt and she still wanted to go through with it. So we did it. My baby got her ears pierced last night, and I am mourning my little girl today. I feel like she is growing up WAY to fast. She was so brave, and barely cried. She freaked a little when they actually did it but as soon as I stood up and showed her in the mirror she started laughing and was back to my normal Jayda-bug. We had been talking about it for a few days. She got some clip-on earrings for her birthday and she was absolutely devastated when they broke. She keeps telling me " Mom, these earrings won't break, I have forever!".

Birthday!!

Yesterday my baby girl turned 3....holy moly! She woke up to waffles with strawberries, whip cream....and Dora :) It's a tradition in our house to have a special breakfast in bed (or in a couch bed in front of the TV, HAHA).

Then we were off to the zoo with our good friends! It got off to a rough start, Jayda fell and scaped her knee pretty bad but once he friends got there she perked right up :)

And I am sure the icecream cone helped too :)

Daddy got off late so we headed to Mcdonald's with some friends....and cupcakes :)

she had a marvelous day, it really couldn't have been any better! She stayed up as late as she wanted and finally crashed on me at 9pm :)

What a great day!

Jayda, Dallyn and I had a marvelous day today. It started out with a fabulous easter party with our besties....then continued on to the community Easter party in our housing complex.

I didn't realize where Dallyn got that egg until I saw this picture...Poor Eva!!

Today we celebrated Jayda's 3rd birthday (which is this Tuesday) with all of our best friends! It was a gorgeous day to be having a party outside, not too hot, not too cold! All of us had a great time, Jayda was in absolute heaven until the minute she passed out tonight. Of course, eating about 6 cupcakes will have that effect :) Thanks everyone for helping us celebrate, you truly are our San Diego family and a birthday just isn't a birthday without you :)
